Officials
The Center will operate under the guidance of a Director, and six members of the Board who will be constituted from different disciplines. This Center will operate under the supervision of the Dean of Studies at Arrupe College, who may also be a member of the board. The Board recommends for the approval of the Dean and Principal a director. The director shall serve for three years, renewable for not more than once. However, with the recommendation of the Board, the Dean and Principal may ask a director to step down. There will be a secretary of the Center who will be appointed by the Board and approved by the Dean. In the absence of the Director, the Secretary will be the Acting Director. There will be memberships for faculty members of different universities and colleges and certain fee shall be charged for membership. Students of different universities and colleges can also join the center as research fellows or as volunteers. A certain fee may be charged for students, however Arrupe faculty members and students can join at a reduced fee.
Events
The center will hold meetings, workshops, conferences and book presentations that are fundamentally focused on ethics in the African societies. It will conduct interviews and produce documentaries on ethical questions in any discipline. It will help students and fellowship students to conduct researches on ethics in society. It will hold annual conferences on particular themes and draw experts in these fields for panel discussions.
FUNDS
The center will raise its own funds from donors, especially individuals who wish to give their donations for the dissemination and realization of an ethical Africa.
Outreach Programs.
The Center will reach out to secondary schools in Zimbabwe to promote competitions and debates on ethical questions. The themes for each year will be chosen by the Board.
