BEng (Hons) in Telecommunication Engineering
Overview
Telecommunication engineering is a major field within electronic engineering. The work ranges from basic circuit design to strategic mass developments. Telecommunication engineering also overlaps heavily with broadcast engineering. Also, telecommunication is a diverse field of engineering including electronics, civil, structural, and electrical engineering, as well as being a political and social ambassador, entrepreneurship, and a lot of project management. B.Eng. Telecommunication Engineering is an important job orienting course which opens many career options for students.
Entry Requirements
For all entry pathways candidates must have at least five Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject at grade C or better.
Normal Entry:
Three Advanced level passes to include Mathematics (Pure Mathematics / Additional Mathematics), Physics and a third science subject OR Diploma in an approved
Telecommunication Engineering field or any other recognised equivalent.
Mature Entry:
Should be at least 23 years old AND should have at least 2 years relevant industrial experience
