Arrupe Jesuit University is proud to celebrate the international achievement of Sean Tadiwanashe Muponesi, a 3.2-year student studying Cybersecurity and Forensics, who has been selected to participate in the International Festival of Youth 2026 in Russia.

The International Festival of Youth brings together young people from different countries to share cultures, exchange ideas and experiences, and build meaningful international connections.

Sean is currently participating in the Youth Exchange Festival in Ekaterinburg, taking place from 11–17 September 2026. The programme provides an opportunity for participants to engage with young people from around the world through cultural and youth-focused activities.

Following the Youth Exchange Festival, Sean will travel to the Kamchatka Territory from 17–22 September 2026 to participate in the Regional Programme. The programme will offer participants an opportunity to explore the culture of the region, develop ideas and projects, and engage in discussions around international cooperation and the role of young people in building connections across communities and countries.

For Sean, the experience is an opportunity not only to learn and connect, but also to represent his country and university on an international platform.

“It’s a really exciting opportunity for me to learn, represent Zimbabwe, and meet young people from around the world.”

His participation is a reflection of the opportunities available to Arrupeans to engage beyond the classroom and develop experiences that broaden their perspectives and connect them with the wider world.

As Sean takes part in this international gathering, Arrupe Jesuit University celebrates his achievement and wishes him a meaningful and enriching experience in Russia.

Congratulations, Sean, on this remarkable opportunity to represent Zimbabwe and the Arrupe community!

Ever to love and serve.
