As July comes to a close—the month in which our beloved Prof. Anthony Chennells was called to eternal rest—Arrupe Jesuit University extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to preserving the memory of an extraordinary scholar, mentor, and colleague.
Following the University’s call for tributes, staff, students, alumni, friends, and colleagues responded with an overwhelming outpouring of heartfelt reflections, memories, poems, and messages of appreciation. These contributions have now been compiled into a commemorative tribute publication that celebrates Prof. Chennells’ remarkable life, distinguished academic career, and lasting impact on generations of students and the wider academic community.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who kept Prof. Chennells, his family, and the Arrupe Jesuit University community in their thoughts and prayers during this time of mourning. Your support, solidarity, and prayers have been a source of great comfort.
